The Nature of the Tours
It is important to understand that even though meticulously planned arrangements can go wrong. Conditions are such that there may be moments of discomforts and delays.
Clients booking any of the arrangements in this brochure/web site implicitly accept the above; we cannot be held responsible for the results of delays and alterations beyond our control.
Clients accept that their baggage and property travel entirely at their own risk. Clients acknowledge that in participation in a tour, certain risk may occur, including, but not limited to, the hazards of travelling in mountainous terrain, the forces of nature and the limited medical facilities of some regions.
What’s Included in the Tour
All services and transport facilities are clearly detailed in the respective tour. If in doubt we kindly ask you to contact us.
Meal Policy
Where a tour is less than half a day no meals are included unless otherwise stated. Where a tour is more than 24 hours, only lunch is included unless otherwise stated. Where a tour is more than 24 hours, breakfast on the first day is not included. If the tour finishes before midday neither is lunch included. Please refer to each tour description for other meals included or not included.
Health & Age Limit
The majority of arrangements offered in this brochure/web site are tailor-made to the individual and, as such, there is literally no age limit. On the few group arrangements included here we impose only the restrictions that common sense would impose; you have to be fit and able-bodied to go trekking up volcanoes. Inoculations and advice on health should be checked with your local health authority. Travelers with heart conditions should check with their doctor about high altitude travel.
Preparing for Your Trip
It is your responsibility to verify visa requirements. No visa is required for North American and most European citizens, but things could change and we therefore suggest you confirm with your local Ecuadorian Embassy or Consulate.

What to Bring
Items relevant to a particular tour are listed in the appropriate section. We recommend the following clothing: Lightweight clothes for the day, adding a sweater or jacket for the evenings. More formal wear is required for certain restaurants. A rain jacket is useful during the wet months and a heavy sweater or jacket for mountain travel. For the jungle, tropical clothes are needed with long pants and long-sleeved shirts for jungle walks. T-shirts, bathing suit, shorts, comfortable shoes, hat and rain poncho are also suitable items to bring along. Please bring insect repellent, sunscreen, a flash-light, plenty of batteries and memory cards.
